Our studio has spectacular views of the Cavalli Islands and Mahinepua peninsula. This cosy retreat is perfect for a peaceful getaway around the Bay of Islands & Whangaroa habour, just a 4 hour drive from Auckland. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, it’s an ideal spot to relax and recharge. Whether you're exploring the area or just unwinding, enjoy the fabulous northland sandy beaches at your doorstep.
About the studio
Wainui Studio is a 60 M2 detached off-grid holiday unit which enjoys spectacular views over native bushland to the Pacific Ocean and the Cavalli Islands beyond.
This homely accommodation comprises:-
Large living area - with sofa, chairs, dining table and desk
Bedroom – with opening to living area, queen size bed, hanging space and drawers
Kitchen -with large opening and breakfast/preparation bar to living area and fully and extensively equipped with cooking utensils, fridge/freezer, gas cooker and hob unit
Bathroom – with door to rear outdoor space and fitted with shower, wash basin and WC
This delightful “eco-cabin” has its own tanked water supply, electricity from solar panels located on the adjacent garage/store roof whist the oven, hob and hot water are served by bottled gas.
The Studio has been furnished with our own belongings and includes many individual & private touches including pictures and an extensive collection of our magazines & books (but no TV!!).
There is private parking adjacent + outdoor seating areas to the side of The Studio and a small garden area close by and adjacent to the abundant citrus orchard.
Guests are free to help themselves to fruit and herbs in the garden for their own on site cooking and we also are able to offer breakfast & dinner in the main house if needed (rates and options available on request). The Studio affords off grid luxury in a magical setting with abundant and mainly deserted nearby accessible sandy beaches.
